Saxon 70mm x 700mm Refractor
High quality 70mm aperture, 700mm focal length. Multi-coated achromatic 70mm objective lens, f/10, AZ2 mount, three 1.25" eyepieces (4mm, 10mm & 20mm) providing brighter and sharper images than the traditional 1" eyepieces, and a 1.5x erecting eyepiece provides extra power, an optional 3x Barlow lens brings the magnification up to 525x, 1.25" 90° diagonal mirror, 5x24 finderscope, dew cap/sunshade & aluminium tripod. This larger lens telescope is a great start and has 36% greater light gathering capacity than the traditional beginners department store style 60mm telescope, giving better resolution of the Moon and planets.

70mm aperture, 500mm focal length. Short-tube land and astronomical viewing telescope, 500mm multi-coated achromatic objective lens, f/7, AZ3 mount, 1.25" 45° erect image prism and 3x Barlow lens extremely good for terrestrial and astronomical viewing. Three 1.25" eyepieces give brighter and sharper image, 5x24 finderscope, good quality AZ3 alt-azimuth mount with adjustable aluminium tripod and accessory tray. This telescope gives crystal clear images which are crisp and with very little chromatic aberration, terrestrial photography applications (with a 35mm SLR) are possible via an optional T-2 adapter ring. Perfect for use by either the beginner or the more serious astronomical viewer.
